Tiger Claw seems to be finished now. Well, almost... (the title picture and the background music is missing)

It was quite some work to make it fast enough on the A500. I wonder if this is because of vbcc's moldy optimizer or my rusty assembler skills? Well... maybe both...

Anyway, here's a screenshot of the versus-mode for 2-4 players.

Another thing... What's the usual way to end an Amiga game? ESC-key?
At least if it is started from hard-disk... (you don't want to end a game when you booted the game from floppy-disk, right?)

Is there a game menu, where you can change options or start the game? Just add a new line: Quit to Workbench.

Good news: Saul finished the Amiga graphics and Amiga music of Tiger Claw!
Also, a few minor bugs are left to fix, but it should be finished "soon"... Here's a sneak peek at the title menu. (new: 2nd button support)

Yes, a boxed version of Powerglove and Tiger Claw is planned. (from RGCD)
More details as soon as the game is finished. "Soon" (tm) ...

1st test of the new(?) "classic mode": It's the same as standard mode, but with different graphics...
(haven't checked if there's enough memory left, but there should be...)

status update: The classic mode is in, but I had to use the a cruncher to store the graphic sets. (it should still work on an A500 with 1MB)

As my buglist is empty now, here's a list of the worst problems:
- There have been bugs in my 20 years old low level code (That code looks like it has been created by a mad scientist, it's a total mess. What was I thinking?)
- A compiler bug was triggered by my C64 C optimiziations and lead to unexpected behaviors.
- A bug in UAE did not reveal a bug in the game. (always test your stuff on the real hardware, kids!)
- The artist was busy with other projects.

conclusion:

Saulc12 has released the original soundtrack album of Tiger Claw which includes all the tracks from the original C64 version together with the soundtrack from the upcoming Amiga version and a full set of remixes.

It can be found here: http://sc12.bandcamp.com/album/tiger-claw-ost
