Hi all.
Has anyone had any luck running Switchblade 2 under the latest WinUAE? I'm trying several games, and have had lots of success running them (even with the floppy slider set to something higher like 400%), but, no matter what I do, Switchblade 2 won't work. I've tried changing RAM, cpu speed, floppy speed. What's really weird is that it actually causes WinUAE to freeze. Yes, WinUAE itself freezes and the whole computer slows down to a crawl. WinUAE has to be killed with Task Manager. Strange. Has anyone seen this behaviour? |

I've found a solution - the problem was that I had (in the CPU settings tab) selected "Fastest possible, but maintain chipset timing".
This setting seems to cause some compatibility issues. Bummer. Although I haven't had too many other problems with this setting. |

Many old games require exact A500 CPU speed, that's just why the "real A500 speed" option is for!

Yeah I know, but since 0.88.22R2 I've had serious slowdown issues with that setting, so I'm trying to avoid it.
