You are the Atari ST --> Amiga emulator with all the quality ports you've done
![]() Sorry, it was a compliment to you, obviously wasted... (and totally off topic) |

Hi Retro1234,
you didn't specify which ST emulator it is... In the video it can be seen as "Atari ST Emulator", but it probably isn't its original name. Could it be Medusa? |

but put together a pack of Emulators with some .ST images including SunDog,Trantor , SimCity, Strip Poker ... its just called Atari ST emulator I think, there all pretty much the same I had one resembling this one back in the day with resolution selection back in the day - from a PD library. |

I think "The Atari ST Emulator" is a hacked/improved version of either Amtari V2.02 or Medusa!
As extras it has a resolution selection menu, different amiga executables for PAL/NTSC boot and translated TOS ROM (in english from german, obviously, as some omitted german words can be still seen displayed in the menus). As Retro1234 says, this must be the best overall *working* ST emu to try on a stock 1MB/Kick1.2-1.3 A500/A2000/A1000. It doesn't need a second floppy drive and it loads the TOS file directly. The only caveat is that you can't select another TOS than the already built-in... |

Chamelion II and maybe Amtari 3 are the only ones that will run on 68020 but don't expect to run commercial games. |

Thanks Retro1234!
No, I'm not bothered about running games - more interesting in somehow using the amiga's HD as an Atari ST HD in order to somehow get disk images onto real floppy disks...to use on a real Atari ST. Why? Just for kicks[starts]! |

Many years ago, with my Amiga 500 and Medusa (I'm pretty sure it was Medusa), I was able to run a pair of commercial games! ![]() Of course they ran slow, but I was astonished! I got the two games from a friend, they were original (no backup/pirated copies) and the emulator was able to run them even with copy protections! I don't remember their names, but one of them was a game similar to Ultima. |

Sorry to bump an older thread but can anyone point me to an updated Hatari port https://hatari.tuxfamily.org/news.html for the Amiga 68K OS 3.1 or earlier compatible, or even OS4 if desperate?
I want to run Hatari IN WinUAE to run Atari STe games within AmigaOS. I can run Hatari native on PC but if feels ... archaic... to run it. If there was a BRIDGE mode for Hatari to the HostOS (AmigaOS, MacOS, Windows, Linux, etc..) where if I click on the *.TOS or Atari ST bat files it can just run Hatari into a Window on the desktop, that would be great. There are some awesome demos, games and music not native or port to the Amiga or PC. Maybe we can crowd source to help Damien update his collection with custom Atari exclusives configuration files this way? Thanks for any suggestions. |
