Some NCR 53C94 update was not fully correct, it probably fixed some controller and broke this one. EDIT: Checking details later..

Fixed.

It broke in 361b1: "- NCR5394 emulation improved (A.L.F.3 compatibility), support use of "Transfer information" command to manually read status and message bytes instead of "Initiator command complete sequence" that was designed for this purpose and all previously emulated 5394 based controllers have used."

This update was not fully correct.

MK I/II boot ROM has some limits (I am not sure what) but at least PFS3 does not seem to work correctly.

Any hdtoolbox should still detect it. Check the log (-log -scsiemulog)

Log shows normal boot rom drive accesses but there is nothing after the boot.

Check that hdtoolbox icon does not have some extra tool types.

Ok.
Now for detect hdd is ok.
With:
Os 3.1 -> hdtoolbox 1230scsi.device

Os 3.9 -> hdtoolbox (have autosearch)
Os 3.1.4 -> hdtoolbox 1230scsi.device

This is not center with winuae.
