Systematic skipping of all interesting content? :)

Just had a coffee and sifted through The One issues 26 and 33-37. OK, only a few pages are scanned from issue 26 and 33-35. But I noticed with a few exceptions the 'features' are SKIPPED (interviews, software industry bits, arcade, demos, previews with visits to the software companies, stuff like 'my ideal compilation' etc), whereas most if not all fullpage ads were dutifully scanned.

Please tell me there isn't a 'pattern' here !

IMO, the features are what makes one mag different from another, and it's also what is by far most interesting to read today. Takes on the industry and the individuals are what documents history, and so more important to preserve.

So I'd like to push a little for scanning those particular pages over 'filler' pages like game ads, competition pages, letters to the editor etc.

Unfortunately, this pattern repeats itself for issue 38-42, and probably continuing. Haha, who the hell scanned these Or maybe all the issues are from a single person who cut out those awesome pages to put in a special binder...

Nah, I think there's a perfectly natural explanation why the team had time for all pages but those.

I guess you mean fixing up and resizing scans? If only the scans are there, let me at'em I say!

I think what the team started out doing Photon was scanning game related material. ie. reviews + advertisements. The rest will come as people have time to scan I guess.

It's a conspiracy! I tells ya Photon! They want you to read ads from the nineties! That's why they left out the interesting stuff!
I second what THB said though
