If Eric is saying so why don't you trust him?
I guess the only way to make everyone on the same page is by disassembling the code that draw the polygons on both games.

He left Delphine Before Flashback coding has started. You can't disassemble C code, it makes almost unreadable lines.....

Next, as explained, the technology he refers about is only used in the cinematics, and those were made with a special custom internal tool called D-Poly.
