Makers of James Pond Series Game wasn't released for the Amiga. Port Needed.

The Makers of the James Pond Series Game wasn't released for the Amiga. It was a gem in Vectordean's array of games. A Port is needed. Can a company port this title to the Amiga? Seems like a quite straightforward thing to do. Can anyone guess what the game is called?

Rolo to the Rescue ?

If it is, it's indeed a gem, incredibly nice game, the most cute graphics ever on a game. And it seems to be a game perfectly doable on Amiga. But being doable and being straightforward are two very different things

My only gripe with it is that the game is huge and there's no save or password system. (ok, nowadays there's a 50 minute long longplay of it on Youtube.. but it took me like 6-7 hours straight to finish it the first time and most people I know who played the game agrees it badly needed some kind of saving system).

Looks like a Sonic/Super Frog approach may work here. Large, scrolling maps with plenty of jumping and platforms. I'm going to crank up my Genesis emulator...

It's the cutest game ever, believe me

I remember the maps being very small most of the time, I don't think it ever goes beyond James Pond 2 size, but I may be wrong.

The parallax is nice but you can kill it to have more speed and colors, the control scheme is easy to adapt for 1 button + keyboard (for changing characters, etc). I see no reason why this couldn't be done on an unexpanded ECS 1mb machine.

The game is really very nice, I've finished it a couple of times. I actually do have a cartridge of it (came with a pack of stuff I bought) even though I do own a Mega Everdrive.;
