Rare Licenceware Wanted, Aixs Software

Looking for games by Matt West / Aixs Software

Thanks!

I actually have Burton Bird at home but for the life of me I can't remember where I downloaded it from.

I'm almost certain someone else will be able to upload it in the meantime but if not I'll upload it tonight.

Burton Bird is on the EAB file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633) in the folder 'TOSEC/Games/Public Domain/[ADF]'. Never heard about the other two though

Didn't take long

Even a quick search on Google didn't yield anything but it's there all along. Never heard of the other games (and if you think I'm typing 'Erections' in Google you've got another thing coming...)

Have you got any info on them anywhere?

Thanks for your help guys!

The only other info I have about Erections and Fish Head Buddha, is that I recently came across a receipt from F1 Licenceware from years ago, that shows I bought them both at the same time. I got them after playing "The Sun" that was on a CU Amiga coverdisk, as I liked the style of the game.

Fish Head Buddha was a strange game about evolving (I'm not even sure I ever understood the game fully, but it had a great style), and Erections was about building a tower using blocks. It never ended, as far as I can remember... I never managed to reach any sort of goal or anything like that.

Fish Head Buddha was definitely by the same guy that did Burton Bird, and I *think* Erections is too - although I can't be sure... but I do seem to think I bought it on the back of Phil at F1 Licenceware saying something like "You might like this, it's by the same guy" or something.

I found a PDF catalogue for F1 Licenceware online that lists Fish Head Buddha, and emailed the guy who bought the company to see if he still had the disks.

As for the receipt that shows I bought them, I *might* still have the disks somewhere... but *if* I do they could be either in my attic, in my brother's attic, or in my parent's attic - so it might be a while before I know for sure!

I only found this review (well, at least it's mentioned there ) for 'Fish head Buddha' yet : http://www.youngmonkey.ca/nose/magaz...urvivor-r.html
Will keep my eyes open though. If you can acquire the disk(s) somewhere would be great if you could report back here superquake

Erections is mentioned on AFCD42 under the F1 License website

Is this the one?

Ant found adf of it yet though but at least you should know where to look now

I'm sure I've recently read something about the Buddha one as well. Was it about looking after and growing a fish or something like that?

Something like that, can't quite remember how it worked but it was bizarre and involved evolving to get spiritual enlightenment or something. Hopefully I (or someone else) can find these games!

A bit more information. Hopefully this will solve the puzzle for you.

The same AFCD contains a catalouge of F1 discs and names Erections as F1-164 and Fish Head Buddha as F1-159.

Now we've just got to find someone with the set of discs or adfs.

Well, here they are in all their glory! All the progrms from F1. As i find the time, I will add more and more programs to this list. For the time being, I am adding programs people are requesting download links for, and ones I happen to feel are important. If you see something that isn't in the catalogue, then please Contact Us and we will add the program to the list.
Sounds quite promising

Ah, on the Erections screenshot. Guess it should just illustrate the building aspect of the game.
