Another 40 disks in the zone.... and just to clarify there are not "thousands" of disks in the SR collection and i've not had the entire collection for 3 years either, Subzero sent me the other half at the start of this year.

By all means, continue to bitch, someones in for a "nice" greet in a crack i've got lined up

On the one hand you need me to do this "other thing", and you're quite happy to be reasonable with me, but with this Skid Row collection, you seem to be losing your mind over it.

I had a problem with a CF card and i've had to switch to another one, so what this means is that the numbering of the ADF files has reverted back to 0001 again.

So when you dearchive this collection, unarchive to a separate directory for each archive otherwise you might overwrite with other .adf files

I'd already started imaging after the CF card fault and didn't notice it had restarted the numbering.

No after 3 years this should be a closed and done thread. And the "other thing" has nothing to do with this thread, and I'm not against you or subzero, but 3 years speculations about a collection will bring up this kinda reaction in a thread, and not only form me, read back..... ohhhhhh it can 't because there where alot of people deleting there messages...after some warning

As I already said to you in PM; so what if it's been 3 years and takes another x years to complete?

I certainly don't remember Subzero / Galahad promising a definitely deadline as to when this would be completed.

Is anybody paying or donating for this service? No, I didn't think so...

...and even if they did; real life always takes preference over hobbies. Especially with something as boring as dumping disks.

Anyway, can we please not get back on topic now???

Just so people know what's going on, I've instigated the help of STE and his Kryoflux to help with the imaging process as I managed to damage my A1200 and didn't want the disks to stop.

So I drove the near 200miles to deliver a big box of disks to Mansfield, and this is the fruit of our labours thus far.
