That keyring site has what you want . MagicWb 2.0r. 2.1p is only a (preview)version. The only difference is the 2.1p has updated fonts which you can use to update a 2.0r install. There has never been a 2.1r (release) that im aware of.

I havn`t read the thread but there is no need for a keyfile. If you set the colors (with common tools or by your own) all is fine.

A keyfile is needed, unless you like seeing unregistered version when opening a drawer.

I`m not sure, the keyfile is for the program "MagicWB-Demon"? that just sets the right colors? If yes, there is no need for it. As I wrote the colors can be set/lock by hand (e.g. with FullPalette) or replacement of the MagicWB-Demon program (there should be one/some on Aminet. e.g. http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/Colorado). At least that is what I remember. Hmm... about 15 years ago.
I`ve just searched through "Magic Workbench Enhancer v2.01" CD but I didn`t found a program to reg. The doc`s says there is no prgram but you can/have to registrate. I`m a bit confused. What tool are you talking about? |

There is no keyfile - the icons in the "unregistered" version have had their "clicked" images removed and the unregistered notice put in their place. When registering you would get a registered copy which has complete icons. You cannot apply a magical keyfile which somehow automatically just by being on your HDD iterates through and restores all the icons to their registered state :-)

Cheers I see what your saying, and its no bid deal with the icons and I have removed the registration from the start-up. I just installed the magicWB2.1p yesterday and its only a few icons that have the (unregistered) when clicked.
Thanks for the info If someone has got a registered version of MWB 2.1p and can upload it to the zone. That would be great Last edited by DonAmiga; 09 August 2011 at 00:06. |

mwb 2.x is not legally available any more. Search the forums for the Amiga keyring site which hosts an illegal copy.

I have twice previously uploaded Magic Workbench 2.0 Registered (originally uploaded by Rabbit80) to The Zone for other users in connection with this thread.
If only illegal copies are now available, then does that mean it can no longer be uploaded here? |

Uploading registered copies is and always has been illegal. So why do you care now suddenly?
