Had a go at Rodland. It's been a long time since I 2P'd this with my sister. Not my favorite single screen platformer (that's Super Methane Bros) but definitely a classic.

I've done the outer islands. Really like some of these graphics - good luck if you've got the phobia.

Odyssey completed. I have looked on a longplay for the top island (Vargula) and the castle. The castle is extraordinarily dangerous with all these archers. And Vargula contains some action puzzles requiring extraordinary skill or much time.

Okay, game gets harder now. I've found the little guy power on Gyps and am getting quite stuck with inside the cottage.
Also on Vargula everything goes dark and I've only found one lever that turns lights on. Maybe another power? Or maybe I'm missing something. Just having a good explore at the moment. Couldn't get into Leo, probably need the wall climbing spider. |

On Vargula, you must enter the eastern cave first and find the bat shape.
On Leo, you need the grasshopper - he jumps higher if you press diagonally up before jumping. Dont remember problems with Gyps, except that you need to transform into the little bird while jumping to pass the gaps. As green man, you can call the other green men when pressing fire, which is required to solve some of the puzzles. |

Good stuff capehorn. It's still an all time favourite for me.
Thanks for the tips Harry. I got a bit further but couldn't make the time to beat Odyssey. Will have to come back to it one day. Enjoyed getting over halfway anyway. A good round for me and Harry and thanks to everyone for your scores and screens. ![]() |
