You need to clear the toys and clothes mate and get yourself a couple of game playing chairs

You could put the art work on the walls?

Just a thought, there's a lot of weight in all that, did you reinforce the joists before boarding over?

Yep, the floor is all reinforced, i could jump up and down on there if i wanted to (but would put my head through the ceiling so i'll not bother)

i really do need to de-clutter up there, just given away some kids books and toys and nappies to a friend who popped over an hour ago so thats a start :-)

YES. That's all the games in there, you need an "small" room, 100 square meters.

But FF7 is probably still better than all those

Really nice collection of consoles/computers/games you have there
my 3 favorite games in order are:

shenmue (2)
panzer dragoon saga
snatcher

after that come ico, shining force 3 and others. there are tons of amazing games. you should try and get shenmue 2 if you have a dreamcast. I'm sure it was also released in france. it was released everywhere in europe and sold rather well. here in netherlands it was sold out of stock a few times. I couldn't even get it at release date

Even if they are just consoles.....

Can any one name them all?
god that looks amazing!! I will try to make something like that as well when I move to a different house. isn't it a bit of a burden to have your tv so high btw? how big is your tv? do you use vga on your dreamcast? me I use multiple tv's for all my consoles. I'm looking for a good tv for my dreamcast though. one that doesn't outstretch the vga 480p image so much.

Mate, read the first line, it's not my room

I was just sharing it because I thought it would inspire others....

If you do build something like this please use a cable tidy, those cables dangling look terrible

this arrived today - new addition to the games room/hoard room: the pics make it look better than it is, the case is well shonky and a couple of cables have come out of the scart block too so i need to learn how to solder to get a picture, there is also a spare power cord to fit in some LEDs too.

Look its a saturn:

but wait...

its a sneaky neo geo MVS

I really want to put it in a new case though, something thats more stable and secure as nothing in this is screwed down and feels like it will fall apart. What would you guys suggest? i did look on google and came across someone who used a tupperware tub that made me laugh.

I know you posted this a while ago but I just saw this web site and thought it may be the type of thing you are looking for.

looks pretty funky, I'm toying with putting it in an old vhs player :-)

i would use an arcade cabinet but i simply don't have the space and i don't think that the missus would allow another cabinet in the house :-)
