Great

...besides Melnock's "cracktro", from the loading screens / gameplay; it seems identical to the SPS release "Space Harrier (1989)(Elite)[1600].zip"

Any comments on this dlfrsilver?

The only real change is the display in NTSC. Otherwise it must be the same as the european release.

Yes, I guess that's it too.

But in NTSC it gets even a bit more hectic, doesn't it?

Anyway, thanks to everybody!

Sorry for bringing this subject back again.

On of the reasons I was after this game is because I found out there was an NTSC release of the game which was PAL optimized.

Are there any more cases like this (both PAL optimized/NTSC release)?

There is two versions about "Space Harrier".

Space Harrier: Return to Fantasy Zone by Elite (video)
Space Harrier by SEGA (video)

Be interesting to know if the music plays at the correct speed in the US releases.

So is the Melnock's crack music too slow on PAL?

listening to Elite and Sega versions, latter it seems slower in playing.
Elite version is much better in this way.
i tried traitors cracked version, but it is the same.

i think Sega version has slower music becuase musician has made in this way..
i tried also SPS version and music plays slower than elite version.

What I meant was the upload by TjLaZer should play the music at the correct speed on NTSC.
