How did Akira, MosMensk, CodyJarrett, Malc-ALE etc. become moderators...
...for all the message boards on this site except for this one that I'm posting on?
Did they contribute and/or help you in some way? I'm pretty interested. |

The Story
Well, it's like this:
I decided that I didn't like the UK anymore and wanted to move to Paris. So, I packed up my five hundred or so Amiga game boxes and the Action Replay in lots of boxes. I attached them to the back of a pig escaping from the Foot and Mouth disease slaughter near Maidenhead and grabbed its tail. Pretty soon, it had dragged me through the Channel Tunnel (or Chunnel, if you will) and we were well on our way to the French capital. The first thing I noticed was that people were letting their dogs shit all over the pavement! So, I told one guy that if he didn't want to clean up after his dog, did he think that I wanted to step in the mess? He didn't like this very much and the pig with the Union Jack on its ass didn't help matters. I was soon running for my life, pursued by Parisiens. I knew that I could only take a few boxed Amiga games, so I grabbed Paradroid 90 and Civilization and started to make for the British Embassy. "Open the gates! Open the gates!", I screamed as I made a mad dash for the front gate of the Embassy. Unfortunately, the Embassy staff were too busy watching Big Brother to notice. Brainless morons. At the last minute, a miracle happened. RCK happened to be passing in his Mini Cooper (he has three, like in The Italian Job, but they are the colours of the Tricolore instead). I jumped in and said, "I'm CodyJarrett, who the hell are you?". He replied, "I am RCK, would you like to be a moderator for the EAB?". The rest is well-known. |

Paris
I haven't found a single Amiga game in Paris yet! There are weird shops for everything else.
I did find somewhere with about 5 or 6 old games shops, but those were for consoles like Neo Geo and Nintendo or PC games. |

To MarzAttakz:
All the moderators at the EAB have the following skills / qualifications : - They have one great Amiga knowledge (games or technical) - They help people without fragging newbies - They are all present on the board as much as they can - They love the retro-gaming and the memories of the gold age of Amiga - They are all nice |

AND, I have to grab some Amstrad CPC stuff... Je suis une CPC'er! :P Faut-il acheter une PC pour jouer? Mais non, mon ami! |

I'm pretty sure they slept with someone. I mean, how else would someone in their right minds would choose them as moderators? First of all, they're a {EDITED BY AKIRA} bunch of {EDITED BY CODYJARRET}.

Classic CodyJ, love your story in post #3 my friend!!!
...I couldn't possibly dare reveal mine then @RCK; after reading your post, not sure how I was allowed in??? I fail most of this criteria... all I can say is that you must have really relaxed standards by a great deal, and been very desperate indeed Quote:

A real shame that TCD has disappeared though; great / helpful guy ...happens to us all though; I went AWOL for 6+ years before returning for more long hours spent making sure this board runs smoothly (not to mention abuse from various members not happy with my moderation in order to achieve the previous). |
