Name of 2D Space-Shooter [FOUND: DATASTORM]

Hello
I am looking for the name of a 2D space-shooter.
The game it self looked pretty simplistic compared to R-Type or Bloodmoney.

The aim of the game was to pick up creatures on the surface of the planet and to bring them to a gate. By flighing the same direction, the space ship flew around the planet. There were green and blue balls hanging from the topside. And green alien creatures flying around and shoting. They were also able to pick up the creatures on the surface.

The main thing about this game was an excellent intro with phantastic music. The intro was at least 15min.

Does anybody know the name?

That is the game-play.
But still it looks a bit different.
The version I had (with the great intro) had a smooth planet surface.
Are there other versions of Oblivion or other game-names for it?
