Shame on me...
I do read some threads once in a while... Just remember that in those two years I've got two kids and a great job that does keep me pretty busy (and happy). |

And the preacher makes another soul happy
Thanks a lot! /me runs to lamulate amiga* *thanks to my wife, all my amigas and old computers are stored in big boxes waiting for the day we buy a big house with enough space for them. Until then all my retro stuff is banned. of course, I had to say the last word on these matters, so I bought newer consoles and placed them on the living room! newer consoles were not banned (yet) |

Hello again!
I have been working on it a bit - but I have run into a snag... I was given 'final fantasy tactics advance' for my GBA for Christmas. Disaster. Free time... Reducing..! It also got me thinking about doing some fantasy style stuff in it - but it might require a major rethink on the way it works. Anyway - here two screen shots of the work in progress of the next version. On the left - the team editor, on the right one of the new scenarios - with the new guided missile launcher in action! On the new scenarios it is now possible to destroy some walls with explosions - as shown here. Thanks loads again for your interest - Let me know if you can use BB2! |

Sorry, but im not able to use Blitz Basic 2, I have the program, but i have an experience of only two days. Is better if you have a program that helps. Hey, When you have finished the team editor, can you send it to me ? Please.... what do you think for add your game in my site? its only for distribuite free... |

Yeah! Post it on your site - I'm flattered!
You only need BB2 to make the shape files up - I'll stick the BB code in the zone - you just need to run it from there. Its easier to create the data file from there as well. I'll also throw together what I'm working on at the moment - but it will be dead buggy, as I've been messing with the computer AI - so not for general release - and it includes the team editor and Scenario 5 - 'Suburban Chaos' as shown above (selecting Scenario's 4 or 6 will make it crash - as these are nowhere near ready) with the new weapons etc. It contains the same sorts of baddies as the 'Ship of Doom' Scenario - but I'm making new ones for the other two. Give me an hour or so to put it together - and let me know what you think! PS I've e-mailed the map editor to you. I don't know the distribution rules for it. If anyone else would like to design a map - let me know! The more the merrier! |

THX FOR NOW I CREATE THE PAGE OF YOUR GAME IN MY SITE..
For now i dont received nothing... but im wait When i receive the Editor i go to make a Level.. A little question: When the team editor is ready the changes at the Squad will be permanent, can they saved ? What you think about an HighScore Table ? Hmmmm, it will be a good idea, to make experience so that a squad members can promote... YOU DONT HAVE AN HOMEPAGE FOR YOUR GAME? |

Sorry - sent it to the wrong place - re sent it
no home page - I'm not good with HTML! Any changes you make to teams will be saved permanently if you click to save button on the bottom right of the screen. Just sorting it now - I use a real amiga so it takes a while! Level ups would mean a huge rewrite - A high score table shouldn't be too much bother. |

Uploaded now.
The archive contains the game, data files etc. exactly as before, but just to remind you - don't try scenarios 4 or 6 - they don't work. Also included is a dir called 'Extrabits' - this contains two bb2 sources - one to create map tile shapes from a bitmap, and another to create map data to go with the map. It also contains the bitmap used to create the tiles for Scenario 5, to give you an idea of how it works. Note that closed/opened doors need to be those particular tiles in those places on the bitmap. I hope you are not put off by the size of the task - it can take a good few days to do it! If you just want to create a map and/or new baddies - I can do the rest as far as the data is concerned, and the implementation into the game. Best of Luck! |
