where can I get a disk drive for my poor A1200?
Hi, well now I have confirmed that it is in fact the diskdrive that is missing from my poor crippled Amiga (I am new to this so please bear with me) does anyone know where can I find one very cheap (for I am as poor as a church mouse at the moment) to mend the gaping hole and start to enjoy this machine of many promises?

Do you know how much they usually go for? I really need one that is extremely cheap. I know that it was started at £1, but what do the bids generally close at?

Not been looking for one, so not sure, but I'd bid a fiver on it and see what happens.

It would probably peak to 15 or 20 quid, minimum.

Winning bid, just six of our English pounds.
So you can expect to be looking between £5 and £10 normaly, HD Amiga floppy drives go for silly money cos they're rare... but you don't need one with the A1200, so that's OK then |

Yea!
I am glad to announce that my Amiga has now acquired a floppy drive and is now actually useable, and armed with a small box of games disks I have now made my way past the purple screen and into other colourful lands. Unfortunately I have now since discovered that the joystick I was given doesn't work, so I am somewhat limited to Lemmings and Head over Heels at the moment, but as soon as I have got hold of one I'll be able to enjoy it in it's full |

If you live in the UK, I have quite a few joysticks. Just let me know how much your looking to pay for one.
