Really nice videos DDNI. And Q2 at 16bit is running really well on your rig.
But for me Q1 was and is the deal. Many many days invested on playing that single player and online also at 28.8k. |

I used to like Quake 1, but after playing it coop with TCD... it is no fun anymore :s
Quake 2 is boring, Quake 3 utter cr@p (UT ftw!). Haven't tried Quake 4 yet. |

I loved Quake 2, much better than boring old Quake 1 (as a single player game).

LOLOLOL!
Qveyk was never my kind of game, the multi will fellow EAB freaks was the most enjoyable session I had in the game. The problem is, I got lost frequently and since TCD knows all the levels by heart (actually I imagine him having all maps tattooed on him arm) he just flew and finished most levels before I could say: "My de-" (the whole sentence was suppose to be: "My dear friend TheCyberTruid I am begging you to wait for me because I have been lost again") So, when do we repeat those multi sessions? |

Erm, yes I played Quake 'a few' times *cough*
Well we should try to find a new game (Serious Sam is a bit worn out ) and then gather some folks to play with us. You find the game |

Hmm... there's a thought. What would it take for a PPC Amiga to run... QUAKE...III...TEAM...ARENA???
I can see it now... the EAB boards... drenched in blood... BLOOOOOD!!! >>>>8)) Q3 is Open Source nowadays, you know. That's why it's free as a plugin as well. It probably wouldn't be too hard to port it either, since it was released on the MaC as well, I think? And if it was, then the source-code is probably out there. Which means it can be ported to ALL PPC Amigas. |

Guess that would still be rather slow... *me ducks*
Also I don't know if the Mac version is very useful, since it's still for anther OS. Well, but you never know |

Another super-awesome thing to find out, would be to know if it would be possible to scale down the Q3 engine to such a BUTT-UGLY state, that it could run on a 68060 processor. Is that possible with Quake 2 btw, lads? |

Quake is C, so it's mainly OS and not so (if at all) processor dependent. Really, there is no point in porting the Q3 engine since it will crawl at 5 fps at best... Maybe you could do something on the SAM though So start coding Predabot
