[FOUND: PHANTASIE III!] 2D RPG game with map screen, "black background combat screen"

This has bugged me for a years. So happy, I found a place where I might finally get an answer to this question.

Few things I remember about the game:

One enemy type was kobolds or gnolls.

Turn based.

There was some sort of a map screen and a specific combat screen.
In combat player had a party with characters represented in the bottom of the screen and the enemies were above them. The background was nearly all black, and just the player characters and enemies were represented on the screen.

2D graphics. I think it looked rather bad even back then.
Simple few frame (if even that) animation in combat, rather simple sounds too.

There were PLENTY of character statistics.

For some reason I've always thought the disk I had said: "Phantasmagoria III", but such game doesn't seem to even exist...

It was PHANTASIE III!

I've been trying to locate it for ages, but for some reason I just now got to googling "2d rpg amiga" and got this list:

Just going through the screenshots, I found something that remotely looked like it (Phantasie).

Even some gameplay available on Youtube. Oooh, the nostalgie!
