Me and the Swedish guy I often play with finished Monkey Island 1 a few days ago (he plays and streams, while we chat on Skype... who actually controls the game isn't very important when it comes to adventure games).
Of course I know the game by heart, but it was his first time, so it was fun playing it with him.

I also played through Broken Age, the new game by Tim Schafer.
It's an extremely easy adventure game, but the quite interesting storyline and great looking 2D graphics made it enjoyable to me.
It's just too bad it will be a two parter, so I have to wait for quite a while to play the conclusion.

Another game I played through very recently is VVVVVV... I'd already finished it a couple of times on my PC, but this time I played through the recently released iOS port.
It actually worked better than I had expected, with touchscreen controls... I managed to get all the tokens even.
Of course, touchscreen isn't ideal for this game, but it wasn't too bad.

I forgot to mention another game I've played a lot lately - it's an iPad game, but not one of the countless freemium crap games, or any of the countless crappy games in general... this one is actually a lot of fun.

It's called Wayward Souls, and it's a rogue-like game... top down perspective and with permadeath.
It has nice 16 bit SNES style graphics, and has some cool looking lighting effects and such... and the music is very good indeed.

It's quite challenging, and the dungeons are randomly generated (which is done very well in this game), so I'm not at all tired with it yet.

I -think- I've had my last play-through now. I think I've gotten to that point where I can see a picture and point out on the map where it is.

... okay, perhaps one more playthrough. That's just the fun of the game, you can make even the most challenging things work.

I liked the second game a lot more, the puzzles in the first game are just so illogical most of the time. More trial & error than using your head.

Played through part 2&3 of Monkey Island 2, with that Swedish guy I know.
It's been a long time since I played through this game!

Evolution - Battle for Utopia (iOS).

EDIT - I'm also playing a mission based runner game, I like the graphics and very responsive controls... it reminds me of the Rayman runner games that I played through long ago now.

Shovel Knight. Ahhhh. The simplicity of game controls. The wondrous 8-bit graphics and SFX. And most of all, it's strangely addictive! Beats the hell out of games that require 16 tentacles to operate, especially if you're all fingers and thumbs like me.

Okami, I didn't realize just how good PS2 emulation is in PCSX2.
I thought about digging out my PS2 recently but now I don't have to.
These games look pretty spectacular in 1080p unlike a real PS2 on a modern flatscreen tv.

Great game, great emulator. You can even play God Of War 2 with beautiful graphics if you have a fast cpu. Find We Love Katamari too if you haven't tried it yet.
