Whdload Desert Dream
Hi folks. Does anyone have a working whd version of Desert Dream they could forward to me? The only one I can get my hands on doesn't progress at the switch to disk 2.

Have you tried to put disk 2 directly in DF1: ?
Sometimes this trick works |

He clearly said he isrunning the WHDLoad version.
This install has a bunch of timing problems that Stingray is looking into, he's working on a new slave that he will release when it's ready. Yes, the version linked above does not work on certain setups. I also get mine stuck at the change disk scene on certain configs. We just have to wait for Stingray to complete the new slave. |

It is Stingray's new v1.1 slave I linked to.
I've tested it on my A1200/ACA1232 and WinUAE, no problems whatsoever. That being said, KillerGorilla's old v1.1 archive had a disk 2 image from Guardian Dragon 2, obviously that didn't work and froze at disk change. |

As usual I am late to the news :/ Sorry about the confusion and looking forward to check out this new install!
(there needs to be some sort of mailing list or another way to catch up on new slave releases, if it exists I am not in it, if it doesn't, it should exist) |

Well, you should have received a mail from the Mantis bug tracker! You even commented on the Desert Dream ticket and have it "on watch". http://mantis.whdload.de/view.php?id=3073

Weird, I got no mail! I know I have been commenting, and even recently, that's what I thought you were still working on it.
I will check my Mantis options. Maybe something I don't have checked. Regardless, thanks as usual for your hard work. |
