Both have split screen for 2 player mode, both play the same, look the same with the same effects like night, fog, rain, snow and so on. I cannot remember in every detail, but I know Jaguar was little bit easier to complete.

Excuse me but what else do you expect to have on the road while you drive? "simulating" in any level the weathes conditions is quite normal. Otherwise we have to clarify that the first game which provided these, were the only originals, all the rest is just a "bad ripoff"...?

You mean Turrican II, not Turrican. Accolade got the licence and published the game as an Universal Soldier movie conversion, cos the first (and horrible) console Turrican was a huge flop in the USA. It's graphically nearly a 1:1 port of Turrican II, plus some bad new levels. Besides the ugly new sprites.

The SNES game was never released (a Beta rom is available), only for Genesis and Gameboy.

It's on the second coverdisk of The One, June 1993.

It's quite a fun game, not really like the sequel at all and very difficult (although that could just be me being rubbish).

Is that a PD game? Could not find it online. Any chance of uploading it?

Thx.
Well the game is an Alien Breed clone (a decent one I believe, for an Atari ST game) albeit more in a 'reach the end of the deck before the timer goes off' way ... it even uses the same lift sound between levels.
It also borrows from the body blows music for when you connect to a terminal and from the intro music of Pinball Fantasies for the game over screen.
