Diskswapper
I`ve been having a retro moment and decided to make some configs for floppy games with more than one disk and found a neat little shortcut for Diskswapper.
This is what i did for Valhalla, 6 disks: Load all the diskks into disk swapper no`s 1-6, make sure disk 1 has df0 as the boot. Start the config and after the loooong intro it asks for the data disk. Press end + 2 and the disk changes to the second disk and loads. Press end + 3 for the level1 disk and so on. This works for SOTB2 + Valhalla2, saves a lot of disk loading as long as you remember which disk is next.... |

Just a couple of things I thought you should be aware of.
Valhalla supports all 4 disk drives, so there's barely any need for diskswapping. You can skip the Valhalla intro by holding down the firebutton |

I must just add that all the Valhalla disks are in one archive so loading them in diskswapper keeps them in the archive plus games like SOTB2 & Chuckrock dont support df1. Last edited by Arnie; 22 June 2008 at 22:06. |
