Cherno - any further updates?

I was thinking, if you have ported it so nicely on this level, would it be possible to run as multiplayer or in death match setting?!

Hello

This project has gotten the most responses by far, only my Hunter HD remake got a video on Youtube and this Chaos Engine TC got multiples, some even with commentary from popular Youtubers. I was very happy to see people care about it. That being said, creating the maps and art is very time consuming I would love to see this project finished as soon as possible but it takes days just for one map and that's not even taking into account the time it takes to convert graphics. So, I guess we'll have to see... the third map is already built without any scripting or items and monsters, so there IS progress being made every now and then. For the moment, I'm concentrating my efforts on my Hunter TC which I already have most of the models for and maps are generated procedurally so there's not as much that needs to be done on my side.

Thanks for all the kind comments!

Should be no problem, although I think GZDoom's multiplayer has some issues, and most people prefer using Zandronum for multiplayer instead... Never tried it, though. The maps do contains two player spawn point, I think. It's really no problem on the mapping side, but since this is GZDoom-exlusive, you are bound to that source port.

Has anyone tried getting this to work on an Amiga? There's no gzdoom port I'm aware of but there is zdoom and also adoom, which might be a bit more accessible.

Probably won't work with BOOM, but may work with ZDOOM or ODAMEX.

ODAMEX is the best bet (which seems to handle Alien Breed pretty well)

It's a shame that GZDOOM can't be ported to 68k but without hardware OpenGL support it ain't going to happen.
