installing printer with winuae
Hi all,
i am trying to set up a printer with Winuae with no luck. I select the printer i want to use and then when i exit the winuae prefs screen and come back in there is is no printer listed. I have tried both a local and a network printer and still no luck, is there something i'm missing ? thanks |

i did search, i must suck at searching i tried them links. no go. winuae will not remember the printer

There is an option 'Search Titles Only' which helps a lot. Selecting this option and entering WinUAE and printer gives you three threads including this one

there must be something wrong with my config somehow cos it dont want to save the printer or talk to it |

hehe,
ok, its allllmost sorted. I am trying to use the printscreen option from the Action replay screens within Winuae. When i press F5 to dump the screen to printer i end up with a 1 byte print file which hangs my print queue. i have to go into windows services, kill the print spooler service and then delete the actual 1 byte file to remove it from the queue (Nasty!!). Is printing supported gfrom within the Action replay cartridge? Thanks |
