A500 keyboard
Sorry for my English (very bad) I use online the translator
At me amiga 1200 ( motherboard rev. 2b), the keyboard has broken , I wish to connect the external keyboard from A500, on aminet to be the scheme of connection of the keyboard to int. to the plug of a motherboard (http://aminet.net/docs/hard/A1k2-KEYB.lha) Question to local gurus how it to make? Whether it is necessary to disconnect int. the controller of the keyboard? If who did that, can step by step describe procedure подключения not to kill a motherboard. There where I live amiga hardware very hard to get |

No need to disconnect the data and clock lines from the original controller.
Just do the solder work on the A500's keyboard to the assigned points on the A1200's board. |

I think it would be better to avoid soldering (have one dead A1200 probably because of that).
better use the 'Lyra' system: get new socket, solder wires from A500 and then put socket on top of A1200 keyboard controller chip . |
