Quick question: When I use BitTorrent, will it only upload the things I've downloaded (or are about to download)?

Not sure if I understood your question. When you are downloading a file through Bittorrent you are leeching. This means that you download and upload from and to peers. If you finish download, and you want to share, you are seeding which means that you have 100% of the file and you just upload. If you are using Bittorent 4.0.X, you can set up the upload rate with the scrollbar at the top. With previous versions, you have to use command prompt.

I use Azureus, by the way. |

through .torrnet files. So no it does not share you drive. If you wanted to share other stuff you'd need to create that .torrent file yourself and let ppl downloaded that .torrent file and only than can you share other stuff. I hope that answers your question. |

Thanks. I was a bit worried that it would share my whole drive.

Haven't used Azureus, but in several P2P clients, you set up a folder that you have files and you share. eMule and Shareaza are two P2P I use and work like that. Usually, you share your downloads folder.

Thanks for the info on TorrentSPy, great Site! Are there more of the same that have Amiga related files? I haven't tried Bittorrents before. I am not sure which client would be best, there are so many.

The links in this thread all seem to be dead now.
Anyone have any good torrent links for loads of WHDloads, pain setting them all up individually. |

Also KG's files can be downloaded individually from http://www.whdownload.com/ (if you only want a specific few).
