A600 fuzzy white screen on boot!

Hi all and merry christmas

I've received another A600 today but this one has a strange boot issue

When the A600 powers up it will quickly flash the usual grey and white screen but then it will get stuck on a "fuzzy" white screen for a few seconds before displaying the Kickstart screen... what is happening

p.s It has a Kickstart 2.05 rom installed (37.350).

I guess nobody has experienced this problem? maybe it's a capacitor issue or i need to re-seat the chips? It seems to play games fine but it's the initial delayed fuzzy/distorted white boot screen that seems to be a bit of a worry

A 'noisy white' is one of the various screens I get from my faulty A1200 board, however when it happens my machine will get stuck there until it's power cycled.

In my case the problem is the graphics chip needs to be re-seated. Well, I hope that's all it is anyway!

Probably a capacitor issue, as many A600, PAL or NTSC (last one suffers more than PAL units).

@fsphil: a socketed video chip (LISA) on A1200?????????????

I've got an A4000 with exactly the same issue, fuzzy white screen, I'll have a cap meter here inside a week, then I will start fishing around to see if it is indeed a cap issue.
