Pcmcia tough question

Hello guys

I have a pcmcia memory card 4 mb i used to use on my miggy 600 as ram.

It looks axactly as the one here :

http://cgi.ebay.it/2-MB-SRAM-Karte-P...item3ef9f13d15

Except of course its 4mb

Since i got an A 1200 now i m not using it anymore.

So what i was wondering is : could it be used as cf ?
To transfer adf files or other files i mean.

You can use it as a disk, use Prepcard to change it from ram to storage.
But that would probably be a waste anyway because it's so small.

(And i'm not sure if you can use other filsystems for it, than FFS).

If you sold it you could easily buy a 16GB CF card plus PCMCIA CF adapter.

The problem is there . I mean i Have tried to use Prepcard

But it says it can do nothing cos it already in use as system ram

I also tought maybe i could format it with a lappy pcmcia slot but damn it my lappy has expresscard instead grrrrrrrrrr

Those PCMCIA 4Mb RAM does not come cheap.

You can sell it for something like £50 (yes, it cost this much!).

Then grab a real expansion memory for your Amiga or a suitable PCMCIA multi-flash memory card reader (~£8 in Ebay stores) and a flash memory of your choice (and suitable for your notebook), like a SD, Compact Falsh or xD cards.
