Unfortunately, since it's based on TOSEC, it is therefore not very useful. Because we know that their ROMsets are rather poor; many systems are not covered at all (eg. Elektor TVGC) and those that are covered are out of date and missing many programs (eg. EA2001). A shame.

It's not based on TOSEC, it's a general DAT/ROM file management tool. You do know other projects use DAT files too? This is certainly the wrong thread to moan about the TOSEC project.

I don't know where you get your info from but TOSEC project got alot DATfiles for various less known computer and if you're not happy with the missing Elektor TVGC DAT then you can create one yourself just like I did when I was waiting for someone to create an EDSAC DAT, it's easy to talk bad about some project if you don't know how much time you need to invest in it to get things done.

Yep, it's a shame that people with knowledge about those systems don't show up and create a dat for TOSEC. Wait...

I can only say that i have true respect for the people that invest create and put time in these collections and maintaining them, doesnt matter wether its TOSEC or anything else. Must be hard work to maintain these huge databases etc.

this is an amiga board and i am pretty happy with the tosec amiga/amiga-iso dats.
like thor said, romvault is not only about tosec. it handles dat files.
as it's not very comfortable to handle tosec dats with clrmame pro, this is a tool to look into
