Decent "Old" Arcade Games
Hello!
Another random request thread by me I've just had a large update of emu's on my xbox and realised that my MAME folder is not as full as I'd like it be! I have some great games in there such as New Zealand Story, Mario Bros, Rainbow Island, Out Run etc. etc. but was looking to try out some more! Bear in mind this is an Xbox I'm running so I don't any silly suggestions such as mslug5 (this runs fine on a different emu) or Bloody Roar 2 Screenshots would be good if you can be bothered! |

I always enjoyed Bomb Jack, Commando, Nemesis, R-Type, Chase HQ, Slap Fight, Kung Fu Master, Star Wars, Super Wonderboy (in Monsterland), Flying Shark and Legend of Valkyrie (I think that's what it's called). And probably loads of others!

Slap Fight (DL the Parent and one of the clones, English bootleg. The main rom doesn't work but the clones all work fine)
Rygar, I love this, but its quite a tough game, music is awesome. Shinobi and Shadow dancer (no pics because you know what they are) The classics, Galga and galaxian Rolling Thunder At least the first 2 aero fighters/sonic wings games should run ok Bank Panic Space Harrier and good ol Vs Excitebike Have a look though marcos thread I'm sure there are a few good ones in there http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=25897 |

LMAO, I demand action over this deliberate slur to my character! You leave me no option but to develop a sense of humor about it. Not enough happy flowers in that game, happy flowers maketh the game.

...but I've been playing arcades game way before the Amiga was even invented I don't play that much these days, only when friends with a common interest and notice the HotRodSE come around Saying that I'm still a massive MAME32 whore i.e. checking WIP pages daily plus updating ROMs / CHDs / art packs with every stable release PS. Black Tiger is wicked |

Laserdisc game hey... I only had ever had the chance to play Dragon's Lair + Space Ace in Oz...
From memory some of the first arcade games ever played were (in no particular order): ... Elevator Action ... Galaxian ... Mr Do! ... Rock 'n Rope ... Rastan Saga ... Rampage ... Rygar Shite... Can't be bothered posting screenshots of them all (as you can see them in the MAME thread if interested), so just a very quick list of other games that come to into my head: 720, Ghosts 'n Goblins, Rampage, Shinobi (still my favourite), Xain'd Sleena, Xevious, Zaxxon etc. and many, many more.. Once I start I can't stop... LOL |

I forgot all about that MAME thread! I think I'll have my work cut out downloading all these games!
PS: If anyone else on here uses there xbox for emulating arcades and finds it really hard to find any elusive roms for fba-xxx pro let me know. The latest version uses some damn elusive files. |
