Hear hear.
Although it's not exactly a cheap controller I use.

I've got a USB to Amiga adapter and just use real Amiga joysticks on the PC if I want authentic feel playing Amiga games and other emulators.

Although personally the best for any retro games is the X-Arcade dual stick controller. Great arcade feel, heavy, robust, and it give a new lease of life to Amiga games because it gives a much better level of accuracy than any Amiga or other home controller ever did.

A couple of you mentioned the Xbox 360 controller. I actually have one that I used with Vista because so many recent games directly support the 360 pad, and for action games like Racing it is perfect. I also disagree about the controls. I've found the wired 360 controls to be very nice. A good robust feel to the controller and buttons. The analogue sticks work well and the D-Pad is fine. Although I will say I do prefer Playstation D-Pads. I know some people just can't get on with Playstation controllers D-Pads, but I've always liked them. Personal taste I think depending on what you used before.

I've received my Sega Saturn USB pad today. Made some quick tests with Kega Fusion, Magic Engine and WinUAE. What a great emulation pad, the first one with a really good d-pad cross. Highly recommended.

Of course it's a brand-new pad. Sega SLS produced them due to a high demand in 2004/2005. I bought it via eBay/PayPal and got it after 8 days.

Wow, that looks good and at a decent price. 6 + 2 +1 buttons is a good thing in terms of flexibility, unlike those gamepads with only 4 face buttons.

One question if you don't mind .
The description mentions: "Slow Motion Function"

What is that exactly? How is it activated? I don't see the triggers being used for that nor the start button.

Thanks anyway.

While trying to find more info. about that, I stumbled upon a thread similar to this one on the sega-16 forums. Might be worth a look for those who want to have opinions from another community.

From what is suggested, I suppose that slow motion mention is just some mistake that gets copied and pasted by every seller .

I think it means you can use it normally like common joypad When you google, you get "slow motion/autofire."

Sorry, I only use the DualShock via USB. No BT on my computer.

I used the ds3drv_1.02 posted at dcemu.co.uk. I didn't use the rumble driver or the settings util.

I really hate the d-pad on on both the xbox and xbox 360! It is a very clumsy design.... The analog sticks on the other hand are perfectly positioned compared to the Playstation pads

Xbox 360 d-pad is horrible but d-pad on a Controller S is perfect.
MS Controller S is my alltime favorite it's just a damn shame they're out of production.
The only reason the old "Duke" controller is plugged in is because of the 9pin mod.

One of my all time favourite gamepads was the Dreamcast one. Which Microsoft heavily ripped off for the Xbox one.

I am not sure about this one (Logic3), I owned this model from them and it was perfect (for me).

Personal tastes I suppose. I always liked the analogue trigger and joystick layout of both the DC and Xbox-S/360 gamepads. Niether was really designed with the D-Pad as the main focus, as most games use the analogue sticks and the D-Pad for option/menu selections in game.

I think for any games that require precise digital D-Pad control a proper joystick will always win over a D-Pad any day. Hence the reason I use real Amiga joysticks and an X-Arcade controller for emulation most of the time. Or my Slik-Stik Classic based MAME cabinet.
