setmap
Maybe wrong place for this, apologies if so.
I remember on some packdisks years ago that didn't have customised menus you could press an F-key which would then launch a program. How did this work? I think it might have had something to do with setmap, but I can't find anything on google about how to customise keymaps such as the f-keys many thanks! |

Do you mean the comodity-tool FKey?!
If so,you find this on the WB Disk in the Tools/Commodities-folder. With this tool you can customize the F-Keys. |

Setmap will load the keymaps, but you need a program like SetKey to actually create the keymaps. That was the tool of choice back in the day for those compilation disks.
