I don't thing that saving with Backbone engine is possible.

Well, you'd have to have the source code, which isn't available. Next you'd have to know about coding, and as far as I know, the guy who created TOG is not a coder.

Apart from that Backbone has many more limitations and is not a good tool for creating games that are aiming to be professional.

i think this is normal in backbone, when You don't set procedure for the second button

Second button is of course supported.

Working fine with e.g. CD32 controller!

hmm but maybe second joystick button is not the same as second cd32 controller button?

Might be...
I don´t see the problem, though.
Just use the space bar instead. You don´t have to use it that much.

it is easy to press this button by mistake this will crash backbone (freeze)
you can also remove this button from pad ;] not a problem :P

He´s talking about a joystick, not a pad. Pads are supported.

if you can so easily crash amiga by pressing fire button this should be imho fixed because this is a huge problem.. - what if someone don't read eab thread?

still that is only my opinion as a game developer..

There is no discussion. Use a normal joystick, a joypad or keyboard. Period.


TOG players don´t have to read EAB threads...they have a printed manual.
