An old release...
Looking through my backups I found a nice tribute i made to the oldschool Amiga demoscene.
I made a megademo-style flash thingy, with all routines coded by me in Actionscript 1.0. There's no timeline animation, that I remember, all is code. I put it online here: It was released at the Flashparty 2001 in Buenos Aires, Argentina I remember my superpowa (by then!) Pentium 3 struggling to get the effects right

well this used to be released as an exe you could make fullscreen, but i am not a fan of such things in web windows.

Generations Ahead... hmm, that phrase sounds familiar... heh.
Anyway, was quite nice - and ActionScript is a horrid piece of shit excuse for a language, so make no excuses for avoiding it! I liked the 3D, spike balls, the perspective seemed a bit exaggerated? And the usual framerate issues and occasional flicker/hickup in Flash, but ofc that's not your fault But I _loved_ the C= smiley!! Did you come up with that idea? Awesome

Hey Akira nice demo! I like the combination of the music and the effects. I don't care if it's timelined or scripted as long as it looks good

sorry for posting this in here Aki, but i've just found this little actionscript 3.0 performance demo in flash, and gotta tell you, personally, i'm impressed.
would be awesome to see your's - upgraded

hey that's pretty cool for sure, but I'll be honest here:
If I was to spend my time learning Actionscript 3, I rather spend it learning ASM for the Commodore 64 and make demos.
