Hi,

I missed the "Wings of Death" screen saver, which s2325 had uploaded to the zone two years ago. Could somebody upload it to the zone again? s2325 lost it in a hard drive crash and I would be very interested in taking a look at it.

- This is the 1.1.2 version. This update only works with the 1.1.0 version and fixes the following bug :

- Level 7 in 40 FPS instead of 20 FPS

Thank you, for this remake!

It's a really nice option for playing a classic without having this depressing "once-upon-a-time" feeling. Instead one can get the impression, that even today there's a bit of the greatness from that bygone times. This makes me happy

Hi,

I am working on an extended version of Blazing Wings (Second Edition) with :

- Atari ST ingame musics ripped from VGM – you can chose between remixes and original tunes during the menu screen [Done];

- Original ingame voices have been ripped and replace the remade voices [Done];

- The gorgeous Thalion intro is being remade [Now in the making];

- Missing extra weapons (Destroyer and Hunter) will be studied to be remade if possible.

Hi Alex,

MP3 are only used for Nils Schneider remixes. The ST ingame tunes are .vgm rips close to .ym (https://vgmrips.net/packs/pack/wings-of-death-atari-st). I chose .vgm cos I can’t use .ym files in Game Maker 8.

Concerning the SNDH player I don’t know if I can include it in GM8.

I'm currently working on a game engine for amiga and atari st. I would like to recreate "wings of death" (at least one level) to evaluate the performance. I was able to organzie the backgrounds (including the tilemaps) but I can't find any of the sprites. Would it be possible to provide (a few of) the sprite rips?
