I would be willing to buy a batch and then make a simple ram board, nothing too fancy or expensive, just to allow those people that want a WHDload machine to have the capability

Is it possible to design RAM expansion for A1200 with clip-on socket on some (more then one) motherboard chips? (probably not cpu due the package type). Sorry if it's technically nonsense...

Unfortunately the CPU package wouldn't allow a clipon (as far as i know). due to its design
