Acorn A3020 plus goodies

Ladies and gents,
Does anyone want an Acorn A3020 with a load of documentation and tools?

Specifically, Programmers reference manual and software developers toolbox...

There is a disk inside it with some stuff on it, but the majority doesn't seem to load and I can't be bothered to work out filetypes on RiscOS: life is just too short!

I assume that the battery (if there is one) may need replacing as I had to do a CMOS reset.

Looking to get back what I paid for it, which is £25 or £30 if you need a mouse. Postage will be about 11 quid via Parcel2Go.

Would be cool to try one of those Acorns sometime. Don't have any money now though.
Never even seen one IRL.

Strange model. It is swollen! (c) Michael Palin.

An A3000 with PC 1.44MB-floppy, right? (1.6MB with the superior file system IIRC?)

Wouldn't mind one, except my E.E.M. (economic expense monitor) says "negative balance". Waah :'(

If it's still unsold a month from now, you know where to find me chiark Might even buy just the coding books/tools if someone wants it without them to save postage.

Always was jealous at my mate in Stockholm (jesus, 20 years ago...) for having imported an A3000 & drooled at some cool demos & that ray-tracer. Games, well there were two good ones, Elite and Zarch :P

Wasn't it devious of them to remove the joyport for the school model tho eh

Edit: btw, can you tell I've almost finished a bottle of wine?

On the same topic, if anyone has an A3010 with an Adelaide board then I'd be interested.

Nah, I want one which will take an ARM3 upgrade. I may have to face facts that I'll probably never find one and use an A3000.

I'm after an A3020, but again dont think i can stretch to it this month, i was watching a good one on e bay but it's gone to high

I could swap you for an a500+ and some little bits?

any pics, or idea of what it's like condition wise

To mod's/admin etc

i hope it's ok to offer to swap on this, but i know that's not allowed on certain forums as a registered user, so if thats the case pls edit the post etc

(was unsure)

Thanks

Chris

Sorry, I forgot to update this - it sold on amibay last month. I'd have been happier with a 500+ swap than cash, too: such is life!
Good luck finding one. My advice would be to make sure you get one with a mouse, as it's nigh on impossible to use one without a mouse...
