4GB CF card in an Alfapower
I’m trying to install a 4GB CF card in an Alfapower 500/500+ IDE unit. I can partition the drive and it’s recognised on the Workbench as DH0:???? And DH1:???? respectively. When I try and format the partitions I get a dos error 21 any ideas please. I’m using HDIstalltools.

I think it would work with oktapussy, but better solution would be to upgrade the (EP)ROMs.

I successfully use a Platinum 4 Gig CF Card in my Alfapower Unit.
I use the oktapussy device burnt in the Eprom. This CF Card should also work with the latest 6.10 ROM, as i use it also on my AT2008 wich uses similar IDE controller logic. |
