Regarding Hi Freaks (Intro) by Supplex & The Silents works fine on 68010 ... I thought if would be possible to compare timing values between 68000 and 68010 while both still use same timing (as you have been mentioned in beta 10 release) and narrow down possible different values?!

Of course, just another loud thinking that doesnt need answer.

Fixed. It was forgotten test change.

Timing code is same but documented differences makes it different: exceptions (including interrupts) have longer stack frame and CLR/Scc works slightly differently, for example.

Wow, this one works fine ... now need to update the 1st page ... and probably test other already fixed demos ... just in case.

EDIT: Confirmed ... all other "already fixed demos" also works fine in latest test winuae.zip 2013-11-02 13:55 !!!

In addition one surprise: Hi Freaks (Intro) by Supplex & The Silents also doesnt show any glitches!!! (accidently or ... it has been fixed ?!)

It is correct. Sprite pointers point to bogus data, ECS sprites have extra vertical bits and if set (and it is in this demo), vertical start position becomes large enough, outside of PAL area.

These bits were added to support mouse cursor sprite on new ECS only programmed high resolution non-interlaced modes.

They attempt to create NTSC mode by writing to Agnus scanline count register (VPOSW) but it is done using method that makes no sense. I have no idea why it is done that way (and I am even sure how it can work..)

Old versions didn't support this kind of refresh rate programming (used mainly in games, Dynablaster, Soccer Kid and Wings of Death)

EDIT: added hack that prevents moving vpos backwards. It wouldn't have worked correctly anyway because display scanline and Agnus scanline are glued together in emulation. It would require major changes to support vpos tricks fully and it really isn't worth the trouble in near future.

4 Bitplane Sine Scroller (Demo) by Level 4

winuaelog -> "BLITTER: channel mode changed while active (09->0D) PC=0003b7a0"

It seems as another "blitter active" issue!

EDIT:
Rampage (Trackmo) by The Electronic Knights

winuaelog -> "BLITTER: channel mode changed while active (01->0D) PC=00038c8c"

Then is better to have a hack than nothing.

Just tested in today newest winuae.exe ... now both demos works fine!

They do work now but not "fine". Screen mode is still PAL, not "fake" NTSC.

Those games still work correctly, this hack does not prevent "normal" fake NTSC code from working. (vpos at line ~262 or so is moved to last PAL line)

about Rampage/Tek
http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=10250

I've not tested this one since winuae 1.6.2 b4 / 2.0.0, when the "landscape" part does'nt crash anymore (with CE=ON)

I retested it now with v2.5.1 -> 2.7.0b9 CE=ON (more test needed, I don't know since which version this bug happens) :
at the credits part the music replayer stop (pic1), play very slowly until next part (pic2)

with 2.7.0b11 bug with both CE=ON/OFF

I also tested with the "fixed" disk version : this part works with CE=OFF, as the first part

Well, on 2.7.0 beta11 with CE=OFF I got power reset before landscape part!

With beta 11 and CE=ON noticed same music playing problem!

I have been verified version http://www.arabuusimiehet.com/break/...s.php?id=16058.

On an old WinUAE 2.0.1 it works w/o music playing issue!

yep, always with CE=OFF, not only 2.7.0b11. this part only work with CE=ON since winuae 1.6.2b4 until now (never worked before)

the fix works fine with CE OFF also with the credits part bug.

A500 OCS/ECS 512+512 ... garbage in scrolling text! (It seems working fine if CE=OFF.)

EDIT: (WinUAE 0.8.27 (2004-06-05) working fine with CE=ON)

EDIT2: winuaelog ->
"BLITTER: channel mode changed while active (01->09) PC=000267c4"

Not much help. It is 99.9% surely CPU speed issue and this is quite useless test case because disabling cycle-exact when credits part starts won't fix it.
