Blitz Basic - Blitting objects have wide black band.

Evening All,

When blitting (qblit) an object that is 16x16 pixels. The object leaves a black part either side of the object. i.e it is as tho I have grabbed an area wider than 16 pixels.

Anyone know why this is, or how I can overcome it.

Was the background colour when you grabbed the shapes the correct one?

Have you touched the BlitMode?

Does the same problem occur when using BBlit?

I haven't changed the blit mode. I will have to check bblit mode. I noticed qblit does this in earok's tutorial video too.

Well, I managed to get round this. A standard blit does not leave a border. So I covered it up after with "boxf" command instead. It seems ok do one small box per frame. There probably is a better way but this works for me at the moment.
