A500+ joystick port problem (up/down)

Hi there,

I just bought A500+, with Kickstart 1.3.

Everything works fine except joystick port 2. Up/down control doesn't work. It seem that its somehow get stuck to press down (or up). For example game menus, selection goes up to down without pressing joystick to any direction. Some games I can't move to any direction with joystick, and some games doesn't allow me to jump, and some games it feel like the jump button is stuck, and the guy on my screen is jumping all the time.

My joystick is fine, tested three joysticks, ja same problem even without joystick in port 2. Mouse in port 1 works fine thought.

I tried to swap CIA-circuits (even to odd and odd to even), but that's not helping.

Any suggestions what is wrong and could I repair it? If not, I'll have to return it to seller. Thanks!

Did you look at the joystick connector, are all pins straight?

Replace U15?
