The 100 most remembered c64 game tunes demo!

Not a game but a great demo that requires fixing for 020 and above users.

And a whdload version would be hugely appreciated-

If theres no sound on 020 its probably because of the self modifying code, the thing is littered with it.

The SMC has all been fixed! It's probably an interrupt related problem, I'll check.

I have found and fixed a particular SMC/prefetch cache related problem, try attached slave and tell me if it fixes the sound problems on 020+.

Trying on winuae (for now, will try on real 030 when I get home on the weekend) - it seems to work fine from the start then the sound gets garbled after you select a few songs and then after a while you get a whedload exception "Line 1111 Emulator" ($2C) at $703000 occured.

Waiting for your test on a real 030 then. As for the crash, was JIT enabled?

Nope, JIT was not enabled. But the "garbled sound" is there with some songs and with some not... try Zoids, Zoolook, Trapdoor (these also take forever to load, while some other are instant).
The exception I get with WAR tune ... : Illegal instruction ($10) at $70B0C
So it is not random...

Bug in loader patch, wrong "end of data" was returned which in turn trashed emulation code. Try attached slave, it should now work properly. I have a also detected a "movep" instruction (used for endian conversion) and emulated it.

Better now (no crashing and loading ok), unfortunetly there is still a bug (or more bugs) since the tunes don't sound right at all. Try A500 1.3 configuration with the ADF and Zoids, Zoolook, etc. on both and you will hear that they are playing too fast and choppy.
