PCMCIA CF Card Compatibility

I know that there is a thread all about CF IDE compatibility, but what about PCMCIA?

I only ask because I have a few CF Cards (Transcend x133 and SanDisk Ultra II) that work perfectly as a HD with an IDE converter, but misbehave when plugged into the PCMCIA port via an adaptor. By misbehave what I mean is that they refuse to play nicely with the CardReset program. When I reset my A1200, I have to unplug then replug the cards in for them to be recognised.

I know it is the card's fault becaue I also have a really cheep unbranded CF card that works fine! really paranormal!

So my question is this, can someone who uses a CF with PCMCIA please tell me what brand they use that does not suffer from the dreaded card reset issue on an A1200?

Many thanks.

I have 3 cards working in PCMCIA slot.

4GB: Trancend CompactFlash 4GB 133x
40MB: Canon Compactflash Card FC-32MH
64MB: Integral Compactflash

The 4GB card I bought with the PCMCIA adapter on ebay because it was stated that they worked together, which they do
