Zak McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders is a game I've just started playing for the first time. Seems pretty odd so I'm assuming it has a "strong" narrative or else it's goign to feel like a bit of a mess. Still i'm enjoying it so far... this probably wasn't much help.

Zak McKracken was one of the most enjoyable games that i played through. It was so funny also (put on your disguise when in the mindbending machine, it was always fun to see the result...).

just played "darkmere"... I didn't like it. The controls didn't really work together with the view. Nice graphics though.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Legend of Kyrandia have a very good narrative, I think.
Leisure Suit Larry, all of them.
Police Quest, all of them.
Beneath a Steel Sky has a good story.
Alien Breed is pretty detailed when it comes to the story, isn't it?
Cruise For A Corpse is of course a good old Agatha Christie style story.

little OT, but its surprising that a really big game likes Legends were released just on Amiga in the year 1996. They would must to realease it on SNES and Megadrive.. I think they would have succeded.

Krisalis made Soccerkid in 1993 and didnt released on SNES nor Megadrive..

?

I am nearly sure that SoccerKid is available on BOTH Mega-Drive and SNES, also on the Atari Jaguar and if I am not mistaken, Playstation.

Where's Krisalis today?

There is a SNES version of Soccer Kid (2 in fact, same game just different title).
Soccer Kid (Europe,Japan) & The Adventures of Kid Kleets (USA).
No Megadrive, Jaguar & PlayStation versions as far as I know, atleast not in GoodXXX.

yes, I am not sure about a Mega-Drive version.

But for the Jaguar... I am pretty sure i've seen a review of it in a magazine... maybe with a different name...

I also have seen a version of Soccer Kid where the main sprite was different. It was the SAME game, but the kid was blonde and different. Can't remember what was the system (And the name was also different).

edit: oops.. I tried again SoccerKid in this videogame archive and there are the SNES and Jaguar versions.. but this weekend werent.. man, Im getting old. Maybe I used TheLegacy.de and I got confosed

Legends is also on MS-dos,.. I think they would had to release it on Megadrive or SNES.
