Old cdrom driver needed
Hi,
I want to get my 12plex scsi cdrom working on my Amiga 2000 (WB1.3 OS 1.3 2091 SCSI card). The only file I need is AmiCDROM-1.4.lha, 1.15 on Aminet GURUS and from googleing the above mentioned file will work with workbench 1.3. Anybody have this file? Thanks |

Do you mean this:
AmiCDFS (AmiCDROM) 2.14 (20.04.96) by Martin Berndt The ultimate Amiga CD-ROM Filing System Version 2 was the first public release of this software (according to the readme file) - have you got it confused with something else dude? |

Ah, I think I've found the program you want, it's in the root/useful directory of the Aminet box set Cds. Version 1.15 is all I can find but I will continue searching. Maybe an earlier version was used on the older box sets (I am looking at the 3rd set here). Bear with me, gonna tear my house apart looking for box set one.....

AmiCDROM version 1.4 BRIEF DESCRIPTION This is the first freely distributable CD-ROM filesystem for the Amiga. It supports the ISO-9660 standard, the Rockridge extensions, and Macintosh HFS. It includes source in C. It works. The program is available on the Aminet ftp sites in the file /pub/aminet/disk/cdrom/AmiCDROM-1.4.lha. AUTHOR/COMPANY INFORMATION Name: Frank Munkert Address: Zum Froschbruecklein 5 90411 Nuernberg Germany Apparently works with AmigaDOS versions 1.3 through 2.1. The google post was dated 1993 |

Get Xetec CDx 2.0 from Installer Heaven, works with any SCSI controller and KS1.x

Ingore the warning, it will still work! It will save it and your CD will automount then you reboot.
Sounds like the disk is a OS 2.x formatted, just reformat a disk on the 2000, then on the 1200 copy all files to the new disk. Don't forget to install df0: on the disk in the 2000 to make it bootable. |
