booo "quality star wars games" - that's all Disney think about? What about Ballblazer, Monkey Island, Rescue on Fractalus, Zombies ate my Neighbours, Grim Fandango, Loom, Pipemania, The Eidolon, Zac Macracken... grr!
Disney bought "That Star Wars company" not Lucasfilm/Lucasarts. Expect nothing non Star Wars ever again. Unless they plan to rinse Indiana Jones at some point too... |

this is just business... U know, recession and other bullshit things as reasons...
None of the decision takers ever met Guybrush Treepwood, nor Sam and Max, possibly haven't seen the Death Star ever... Of course they should... especially the laser beam... |

Well, it's a secret, innit.
Wouldn't be a secret if we were meant to know. |

think about the good side of it. since the company is now closed, they won't forbid us to download their games.

I do not regret it so much, I liked their 90s adventires, but I was absolutelly not interested in anything newer from LA, not my cup of tea. Fed up with all those Star Wars games. For me LucasArts died with The Dig.

Lucasarts was already 'dead' to me, ever since they quit makiing aventure games, and decided to pretty much only focus on Star Wars games instead.
Still, it used to be one of my absolute favourite game companies back in the good, old days... they made some absolutely brilliant games. |

Not a good news for me too, it's always sad for people who worked there.

Back on topic, saddening news, as the Psygnosis one has been just last year. Another childhood hero gone: so long, Lucasfilm/arts, and thanks for all the memories. |
