trying to find an RP9 editor
Grrrrr.... I have been searching th Web for an Rp9 Editor. I already know that RP9's are Zip files. I have added ADF;s to zip files but no Idea how to add preview pics or set RP9 to open WinUAE settings i.e. AGA games to boot with standard A1200 Cycle exact etc. can any body help? Or if it is possible can u put an RP9 editor in the zone?

Isn't there any such utility at Cloanto's site? They came up with the format, so they should support it.

I would have thought so mate but after visitisg their site all i find are Information on the RP9 file format. I had tried to look in thiir RP9 files to get an idea how it works but it is a bit confusing. I managed to find a website that claims to be building an editor but they dont have it and the site has been running since 2009. Venerablesoft have not built it since.

Thanks for the link. I have downloaded it. However, my firewall Has reported this program as unsafe. I think I should download Sandboxie to be on the safe side.

It does? I just checked I have found RP9 manager in the tools section of the player, although there are no instructions. it seems a littlwe confusing. guess I will have to play around with it to find out.

Just pick an action, either create rp9 or extract rp9, from the task menu
Select source and destination from the folders menu and click 'start task'. Simples, as a certain Meercat would say. |

That's brilliant Arnie, I never knew that even existed. I just tried it with the C64 forever loader and it worked a treat

Cloanto have only just released the 2012 version of Amiga Forever which does have its own RP9 Editor. It's more advanced than the one in the link above, but that is a good utility anyway and may be everything you need (and it's free of course).
