Passed on to Demos maintainer - idoru

* Crack Intro Bubba & Stix (19xx)(Paradox)[a]

If you let it run for a while it says "(c) 1993 Orange Juice Productions"

It's definitely a non-working Eurochart 25...- idoru

* Official Eurochart, The - Issue 25 (1994-05)(Static Bytes)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 2)[b]

I downloaded this one from http://www.delamelon.com/home.htm (click "files"), it's called "How 2 scan a kid". I don't think it's supposed to be a disk for the full Eurochart issue.

I've been working through the games dat and the following are empty disk images or just contain a bootblock and little else!

Here we go.. these need removing from the dats (Check the zipped filesize):

Bard's Tale, The - Tales of the Unknown (1986)(Electronic Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)(Character)
Ambermoon (1994)(Thalion)(Disk 10 of 10)(J)
Ambermoon (1993)(Thalion)(De)(Disk 10 of 10)(J)
Chaos Engine, The (1993)(Renegade)(Disk 2 of 2)
Dragon's Lair - Escape from Singe's Castle (1990)(ReadySoft)(Disk 4 of 5)[cr QTX][h New Order]

The following seem to just contain the cracktro.. so err obviously wont work!

Commando (1989)(Elite)[cr QTX][b]
Champion Driver (1991)(Idea)[cr QTX]

There are literally a tonne of these.. I'm currently busy rebuilding so err... I'll post more when I have more time

Agreed, it should be renamed

Just checked my .adf files... (Disk 10 of 10)(J) is a save disk.

A while ago I downloaded Ambermoon (1994)(Thalion)(Disk 10 of 10)(J) from BTTR (in the save disk section I think) that had the "Final End Fight" on it.

Actually where's alexh. I'm sure he can confirm

I can confirm that all Ambermoon (1993)(Thalion)(De)(Disk 10 of 10)(J)
are savedisks, some [a]'s have already the right [a savegame], some not.

For Bard's Tale, The - Tales of the Unknown (1986)(Electronic Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)(Character).adf
it's the same.
And you can add the 9 (!) adf's Bard's Tale II, The - The Destiny Knight (1988)(Electronic Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)(Character Disk).adf
to the list.

For Ambermoon i know that the savedisk can be created by the game, for Bard's Tale I and II i'm not sure but i'll check that out if no one knows that and post here...

I'm thinking there should maybe be a separate DAT for savedisks or they should be included within the : Commodore Amiga - Games - Unofficial Addons & Patches Dat

* For both Bard's Tale I and II HOL says:
"Although the game comes with 1 disk, the game instructs you to create a second disk for the characters."
* Ambermoon comes on 9 disks so the #10 is obsolete

--> i vote for a savedisk dat. I can remember BTTR had a lot of savedisks, so i think it's a good idea to have them in a separate Dat. Was anybody wise enough to leech all the savedisks from them???

I agree with a savedisks dat, but only for use with games that make their own when first saved or instruct you to do so in the instructions. Games that came with a savedisk included should keep that savedisk in the Games dat. - idoru

because Tosec renaming is so much fun here comes some more...
Games/adf:

Campaign - Tactical & Strategic War Simulation (1992)(Empire)(Disk 2 of 2).adf
is: (De)

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(De).adf
is: Campaign - Tactical & Strategic War Simulation (1992)(Empire)(De)(Disk 2 of 2).adf and not AGA

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(De)[a].adf
is: Campaign - Tactical & Strategic War Simulation (1992)(Empire)(De)(Disk 2 of 2).adf

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT].adf
is: Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT].adf
-> it's not AGA and english only!

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT][a2].adf
is: Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(M5)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT][a2].adf
-> not AGA

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT][a3].adf
is: Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT][a3].adf
-> not Aga and english only

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT][a].adf
is: Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FLT][a].adf
-> it's not AGA and english only

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)[cr QTX].adf
is: Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr QTX].adf
-> it's english only

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)[cr QTX][a2].adf
Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)[cr QTX][a3].adf
->both (Disk 2 of 2)

Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(AGA)(M5)[cr QTX][a].adf
is: Campaign II - 50 Years of Global Conflict (1994)(Empire)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr FTL].adf
and not AGA and not M5

to do: add the right [a]'s to all Campaign after the above renaming...

Please check these after the next dat - I've got a feeling I've messed it up a bit - idoru

Applications dat:

AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk x of 4)(AmigaVision_Boot).zip

and ALL other versions/alts need editing to the following:

AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk x of 6)(AmigaVision_Boot)[a].zip

and disk 3 & 4 (Tutorial_1 and Tutorial_2) need changing to Disks 5 & 6 [alts] respetively.

The reason this is so is because I have found a complete 6 disk set..
I have named it as follows:

AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk 1 of 6)(AmigaVision_Boot)
AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk 2 of 6)(AmigaVision)
AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk 3 of 6)(Music Disk)
AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk 4 of 6)(Sound Disk)
AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk 5 of 6)(Tutorial_1)
AmigaVision v1.53 rev G (1990)(Commodore - IMSATT Corp)(Disk 6 of 6)(Tutorial_2)

----

Games Dat:

Microbes (1992)(Vision).adf needs moving to PD dat and giving the SW flag (Shareware)

----

Firepower (1987)(CDS).zip and ALL OTHER VERSIONS/CRACKS year is 1988 not 1987

With some help from Adderly, here are some suggestions:

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][!]

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][a]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][t +8 Goonies]

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][a2]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][b]
// file copy error

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][a3]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][a][m]
// intro removed

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][a4]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SKR][a2][m]
// intro + txt removed

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][a][m]
// missing $00000015

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][a]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][a2][m]
// missing $00000015

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][a2]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][!]
// has $00000015

Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][a3]
-> Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SKR][a3][m]
// missing $00000015, different disk label

So what is $00000015 for? It's a small 886B file that doesn't look compressed. I'm not even sure the file is required to complete the game.

Games Dat:

Best of the Best - Championship Karate (1992)(Loriciel)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr Interpol][b]

This disk is not [b] if you try it with: Best of the Best - Championship Karate (1992)(Loriciel)(Disk 2 of 2) you'll find the game works just fine

I think it must be just a bad disk 2!
