New Amiga compatible LCD monitor

Hello people!

I'm back from a short vacation, but with a new toy on the luggage: two brand-new LCD TV monitors.

Not a big deal, some may say. Except for the brand: "Fujilink" (does anyone ever read about it?).

I bought two units, one 19" wide screen, one 4:3. Both work OK on the Amiga, yay. Hooked on the VGA connector with the original silver "dongle".

They work flawlessly on PAL, NTSC, Productivity, Multiscan & DBL_NTSC. On the others, don't (obviously). The models are FU1901W PT (widescreen) and AT-G19-TV ("square" TV).

I think there is a time for a new sticky thread: Amiga compatible LCD monitors

Could you take the closeup (macro) photo of pixels in letters in the workbench? What is the native resolution of these displays?

@Fingerz: yes

@Predseda: native are 1440x900 (ws) & 1280x1024 (4:3).

There are some artefacts on the wide screen due resampling. Good enough on the normal aspect ratio.

They flick...

But making the monitor "permanence" bigger, it flick a lot less. On supported modes, of course!

No SCART on this side of the world, friend.

The monitor only have VGA, HDMI (no Amiga use), composite, S-VHS, component (YPbPr) and RF.

1280x1024 is 5:4, sadly (for us PAL users!) Is the picture aspect adjustable without getting scaling issues?

Also, ehm, how much are they??

Scaling artefacts in all viewable PAL modes. Crisp and perfect image on NTSC.

The company offer a regular 4:3 model too. I have both now and like the wide screen better (more Amiga Workbench, yay ).

I bought each for US$116 on a free tax zone. Cheap as chips.

Sorry for the long time for the answer: yes, it overscan very nicely in all modes the monitor can handle.

Used it with all my Amigas for more than an year now and it is still going strong.

The best display I ever tried with my amigas was a Daewoo lcd. still crying back those days...
gave a try with composite, then svideo and SCART. it was outstanding. and with it's VGA and USB ports, built-in DVD I believe that's the ultimate solution.

Here it goes: Daewoo DSL-19T2WC.

Sorry for the not-so-good quality of the two pics I made, I had my mobile only at that moment.
The first screen is a PAL 640x256 mode with SCART cable (SVideo gave the same result.)
Note that it had the protective plastic on the panel.
